IRON AND STEEL
Gases applications are used on the metal casting processes, on thermal processes, on applications for electric arc furnaces, on reheating steel products as ingots, semi-finished products, steel sheets, etc.
COMBUSTION
The use of Oxygen on combustion process allows to increase the production, by reducing or eliminating Nitrogen present on atmosphere, reduces the fuel consumption due to a more efficient combustion, reduces SOx, NOx and CO2 emissions and reduces noise levels.
STEEL REFINING
Melted metal in transformers and electric arc furnaces is refined through Oxygen injection, adjusting the metal final chemical composition, according the intended patterns. Nitrogen and Argon injection allows the homogenization of chemical composition and of temperature, as well as the elimination of non-metallic inclusions.
MINERALIZATION - HYDROMETALLURGY
On the mineral concentration through Hydrometallurgy are used techniques as Flotation Process, which uses Nitrogen and Carbon Dioxide, reducing substantially the consumption of expensive chemical reactive, improvement on the mineral recovering, environmental conditions and process control. Copper, gold, silver and zinc leaching through the dissolution of oxygen improves the process and the metallic concentration of the solution.
